The Future Advisory Board (FAB) invites you to join us.

Applications for new membership are welcome at any time.  New members will join the existing collective in our work developing new projects and events specifically aimed at postgraduate and early career researchers. These events will address the pressing concerns, demands, dreams, and artistry of postgraduates and early career researchers worldwide, and increase the visibility of the diversity and breadth of performance studies. Examples of previous projects can be found in ‘Past Initiatives’. 

FAB primarily communicates using online platforms and, travel and finances permitting, meets in-person every year at the annual PSi conference.

New members will serve for a minimum of three conference cycles. 

Nominees must be:

• Current PSi members
• An emerging artist, graduate student,  early career researcher, postdoc, or junior faculty member
• Available via digital communications for meetings and project updates 
• Willing to engage with collaborative and collective creative and intellectual processes
• Committed to diversifying and repairing performance studies and building a wide network of junior and emerging scholars and artists.

Those interested can apply by emailing a brief description of their reasons for wanting to join, a brief biography, and ideas for forwarding the aims and ideals of FAB.
