Summer School 2.5 at PSi #25 Calgary

In this third iteration of the PSi Summer School, the FAB welcomed participants from Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, the UK, the US, Europe, and the Philippines. The program included workshops featuring Blackfoot artist Justin Many Fingers (one of the conference’s keynote speakers), FAB member Yiota Demetriou, and local artists Mark Hopkins and Jenna Rodgers, as well as a group outing to explore the city of Calgary followed by a durational performance by Indigenous artist Meagan Musseau. Throughout the five days, participants took up questions about the significance of place, particularly in the context of Calgary (Treaty 7 Territory), considering ways to more actively engage with land acknowledgement and the complexities of where and how we do the work we do.
